Jason Pierce – Guitar/Vocals

Born and raised in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Jason was introduced to

music by his grandpa and uncle, who both inspired him to start playing the guitar and singing at age 12. Many nights were spent on the front porch singing and playing country music for family gatherings.

Jason loved the sound of not only country music but was drawn to the sounds of classic/hard rock, and blues. He was hired for his first house gig when he was 17, and that started a lifetime of playing on stage.

After playing in Colorado bands for 6 years, Jason made the move to Montana and started two bands. While playing with those bands, Jason met his “brother” Shawn, and together they formed Dawghouse. As a signed, regional southern/classic rock band together for 21 years, Dawghouse played numerous festivals and shows, sharing the stage with Black Oak Arkansas, Steppenwolf, Molly Hatchet, Southern Rock All Stars, the Bellamy Brothers and more. Jason and Dawghouse produced and recorded two studio albums of all original music which sold worldwide.

Through the years Jason has become an accomplished singer, songwriter, guitar and bass player, sound engineer, and music producer. He brings edgy guitar styles that intermingle his all-encompassing musical tastes and genres.

Carrie Stewart – Fiddle/Vocals

Being from a musical family, Carrie was singing in her crib before she could talk (direct quote from her mama), and it turned into a lifetime of playing old-time fiddle music, bluegrass, country, and some good old rock 'n roll.

Raised in the copper mining town of Butte, Montana, Carrie's love and passion for music spans over 49 years, beginning with 3 years of classical piano and 1 year of violin lessons under her belt by age 11. She then started competing in old-time fiddle contests, winning the Montana Junior-Junior championship at age 12, along with the Montana Junior division 3 years in a row and the Ladies division twice. Continuing through Carrie’s competitive fiddling years, she also won the Washington state Junior and Ladies divisions, won or placed in the top 5 in many regional and international contests, and proudly placed 6th in the Ladies division at the National Old-Time Fiddlers Contest, where she was also a featured vocalist.

In 1988, fresh out of college with a degree in business management from the University of Montana, Carrie toured 14 western states in 6 months with the Montana Repertory Theatre, playing fiddle in the 5-piece pit band for the musical play Cowboy, based on the famous painter Charlie Russell's life.

As time moved on, Carrie played and sang with numerous country and bluegrass bands, with her longest stint being 14 years singing, writing songs, and playing electric fiddle and keyboards in Dawghouse, a signed southern/classic rock band that produced two albums of original music. Following the retirement of Dawghouse, Carrie spent 5 years with an Americana band.

Always keeping a song in her heart and looking to expand her musical horizons, Carrie continually pushes the boundaries with her rockin' fiddle playing, strong lead vocals, and pure harmonies.
